ICOACHKIDS has officially launched its brand-new e-learning platform, providing youth sport coaches with free access to a comprehensive range of online learning opportunities.
The platform features more than 20 free courses designed to support coaches in creating positive, safe and child-centred sport environments. The courses cover a wide variety of topics essential to youth sport coaching, including The ICOACHKIDS Essentials, The Role of the Children’s Coach, and Coaching in Competition: A Child-Centred Approach for Youth Sport.
Coaches can also explore courses focused on children’s rights in sport, such as An Introduction to Children’s Rights and How Do Children’s Rights Apply to Sport?, as well as modules on motivation, motor skill development, inclusion, safety, and understanding youth sport participation.
Additional courses address key coaching skills and leadership topics, including Developing and Applying Your Coaching Philosophy, Planning for Success in Youth Sport, Creating Positive Learning Environments, and Developing a Vision and Strategy for Your Team or Club. The platform also includes modules dedicated to talent development, engagement in youth sport, and preventing youth sport dropout.
The new learning hub allows coaches to progress through courses at their own pace while earning digital badges that recognise their development and commitment to quality coaching.
With this new platform, ICOACHKIDS continues its mission to support coaches around the world in delivering better sport experiences for children.
