#10 Use Competition in a Developmental Way
There is nothing wrong with competition.
When the format and the atmosphere around competition is built around the developmental stage of the kids and considerate of their needs, competition is an amazing motivator and a lot of fun.

Consider the format of competition and games. The format can help set the right tone for learning and development

Competition can be a great motivator: it may help children set and evaluate goals, as well as test what they have learned against their peers.

Winning isn’t everything. There is a lot that can be learnt from competing, winning and losing, so do not put unnecessary pressure on kids: it might turn them away.

Competition should fit with your long-term plan and the needs of the kids. so make sure it comes at the right time in their journey.
